We have become estranged from each other.

We are ever so intimately connected yet drifting further apart. 

We have become estranged from ourselves.

We create fictional, digital identities for others to see yet it is becoming more difficult to separate our physical selves from their digital counterparts. 

We have become estranged from the world around us.

We cannot ignore how brutal and unfamiliar it seems to be. 

We have become estranged from our humanity.

We are being replaced by invisible powers that compile volumes of writing, generate pictures and videos, and speak in human voices. 

We have no idea what we have made for ourselves.
